For Training and Capacity Building, there is provision of organisation of Training Programmes under State Plan Scheme. The Funds for this purpose flow to VOTI and field institutions through SMILE. A variety of training programmes like Soft Skills Development, Extension Management, Office Management, Pet Care and management etc. are being organised for the field veterinarians under this. Skill Development training programmes on Dairy, Poultry and Small Animal Rearing are organised for the farmers.

 

Regarding central sector schemes, Training Programmes are organised under NLM and ASCAD. Programmes on Small Animal & Poultry Development under NLM and Control of Animal Diseases under ASCAD are being organised.
